Wendy Galligan R.N. at Akron General Medical Center is onsite at Klein’s Pharmacy once per month to perform cholesterol and glucose screenings for our customers and our community. Knowing your cholesterol and glucose levels is extremely important information to ensure you are in the best possible health. Wendy will be onsite at 2015 State Road Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 on the second Thursday of every month from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. No appointments necessary. Cost of the tests are as follows:
- For $12, screen your totla cholesterol and glucose only.
- For $20, check your HDL (good) cholesterol, glucose, total cholesterol and risk ratio for heart disease.
- For 36, receive a complete lipid profile of all of the above tests, plus LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglycerides. If you plan to receive this test, you will need to fast for 12 hours prior to the test.
